L&T Heavy Engineering Hiring Design Engineers
1. Design Engineering : Heat Transfer Equipment (0724 DES)
- Education : B.E / B.Tech Mechanical
- Work Experience : 3 to 8 Years
Job Description : Should have knowledge of heat transfer equipment, ASME Code Sec VIII Div1&2, Sex II, API 660, API 934, TEMA etc. Should have hands on experience on mechanical design of static equipment like shell & tube type of heat exchanger including screw plug / high pressure exchanger, urea exchanger etc. Using PV-Elite, Compress or Nozzle Pro, Role and responsibility include contractual specification study, mechanical design, detail engineering, material purchase requirement, drawing checking & liaising for client approval.
2. Thermal Design Engineering : Heat Equipment (0724 TDES)
- Education : ME/M.Tech, Chemical
- Work Experience : 3 to 8 Years
Job Description : Should have experience in HTRI, HTFS, shell & tube heat exchanger equipment like Waste Heat Boilers, Rod-baffle type heat exchanger, TEMA type heat exchanger. Should have knowledge of refinery and fertilizer process, shell & tube heat exchanger thermal design/sizing.
3. Design Engineering Reactor Pressure Vessel (0724 RDES)
- Education : B.E/B.Tech / M.E/M.Tech – Mechanical/Design
- Work Experience : 2 to 5 Years
Job Description : Should have experience in Stactic equipment design of pressure vessels for Refineries, Oil & Gas equipment etc. Knowledge & experience in Engineering Software (PV-ELITE), ASME Codes (Sec VIII Div.1 & 2, PMC/Licensors / EPC Specification & Industrial Standards (i.e. API, NACE, etc). Experience in preparation & checking of mechanical design calculation, Fabrication drawings, ARMs (Material Technical specification), co-ordination with client/AI for Document approval.
4. Design Engineering Special Fabrication Unit (0724 EDSN)
- Education : BE/B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical
- Work Experience : 2 to 5 Years
Job Description : Should have Proficiency in pressure vessel (Loop Reactor, Column, Filter Vessel, etc). Must have Design as per Sec- VIII Div-1 and 2 using software like, PV-Elite, Nozzle Pro and Ansys, Should have experience and good understanding about FEA report review. Should have good in oral and written communication. Able to work in project groups.
