We are recruiting for “Estimation” position – Mumbai
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Qualification : BE/B.Tech – Civil
- Experience : 8 to 12 years of experience
Job Location : Mumbai
Roels and Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including materials, labour, equipment and overhead.
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine project requirements.
- Ensure that estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Work with project management to develop project budgets, ensuring they align with the estimates.
- Perform riks assessment and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Monitor and update estimates as project details evolve, adjusting for scope changes or unforseen conditions.
- Manage the tendering process, including reviewing bid documents and coordinating with Sub-contractors and suppliers for quotes.
- Ensure timely submission of competitive and compliant bids.
- Conduct past-bid evaluation and provide clarification to clients when needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. design z procurement, project management) and external stakeholders (e.g. clients, Sub-contractors) to gather information necessary for accurate estimating.
- Attend project kick-off meetings and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
